These terms ("Terms") are between you and T.B.H. ("we", "us", "our"), the author and operator of The Goliaths (the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What The Goliaths is

The Goliaths is a reading app for a story released chapter by chapter. New chapters are locked and opened with a password that is shared in our WhatsApp channel. The App requires an active subscription to read.

2. Age requirement

The story contains adult themes. You must be 18 or older to use the App. When you sign up you confirm that you are 18 or over. We are not permitted to sell subscriptions to anyone under 18.

3. Account

You sign in with Apple — we never see or store a password. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure, and for everything that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

4. Subscription and billing

• The App is sold as an auto-renewing subscription at the price shown at purchase (£0.69/month at launch). The exact price and currency are set by the App Store and shown to you before you pay.
• Your subscription is billed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your card details.
• Your subscription auto-renews until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to its own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Content and your licence

The story, artwork, design, and all other content in the App are owned by T.B.H. and protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to read the content within the App for your own private, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or resell the story or any part of it.

The story is written by T.B.H. — a human author, not AI. Images in the App are generated using AI and may differ from the text.

Chapter passwords are a release-timing feature. Do not share passwords outside the group, and do not attempt to bypass the subscription or the password gate.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App;
• scrape, republish, or distribute the story content;
• use the App to abuse, harass, or defraud others;
• attempt to disrupt the App or access areas you are not entitled to.

7. Availability and changes

We may update the App, add or remove features, or stop publishing new chapters at any time. We do not guarantee the App will be available without interruption. We may change these Terms by posting an updated version; continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, in the UK, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability under consumer law that we cannot exclude).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You may also have mandatory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
